Shopping

So the plan was to head back to Houston and pick up more clothes and supplies (since we only packed for the weekend, not a week!)and then come back to Aunt JuJu's. Patrick was worried that we would get stranded back home (with the gas shortage) so instead, we saved our gas money and went shopping!

The kids playing at the mall...

Riding the carousel

Logan

Even Aunt JuJu got a ride!

We hit a big sale and got the kiddos lots of new stuff (clothes and shoes!) for the fall. Buy One Get One 50% off is really nice when shopping for FOUR!

The babies weren't really into a fashion show, but here are a few of the outfits.

Lauren (size 24 months - room to grow!)

Nonnie

Even London got some new things. These moose shirts say "Big Guy" for Logan & Lathan and London's says "Little Guy"...awww!

Loggie modeling the moose shirts...

Logan also picked out this bib for London. He was very proud! Thankfully he settled on the bib - he wanted Grammie to help him buy a stroller so that he could push the baby around!

I think the plan is to go home tomorrow. We still don't have power at the house, but Daddy has to go back to work on Monday (boo - but how fun to have had him "off" this week!). Grammie's electricity has been turned back on so if our place is too hot, we'll just bunk over there. Sucks that a hurricane caused it, but it sure has been a fun week long vacation.

THANKS TO AUNT JUJU, EMMY, & UNCLE JOSH FOR HOUSING AND ENTERTAINING US - WE LOVE YOU GUYS!!!

  1. Cute clothes! Our stores like Baby Gap, Gymboree (they're having a baby sale now!) and places like that were cleaned out by all the evacuees in Austin over the weekend! There was wall to wall people in Baby Gap on Saturday. Anyway, safe travels back home! I hope they get power back on soon!

  2. Come back and stay with us anytime! We loved having you here :) Emmy learned a lot from her big cousins this week. After another week with them I think she would be speaking in full sentences!

  3. They sure look really cute! Always fun to have an excuse to buy clothes. I just bought my boys more clothes and we didn't even have a hurricane!

I don't know if you're planning on dressing London up in matching clothes like the others but if you want, I will have a ton of baby boy clothes since I will not be having any more. Polo, gap, old navy...just let me know!
