So we ran from Hurricane Ike and its looking like we made a good decision. Nasty weather, loss of power...no thanks. We're off at Aunt JuJu's enjoying beautiful weather!
Today we took the kids to the park for a picnic and some playtime.

We left the park and came home, gave the kids a bath and put them down for some LONG naps.
We played outside a little more before dinner. Daddy took the kids on mini bike rides up and down the street!

Girl... you totally made the right decision. We got the HELL out of there at noon today. It was still bad but we were done. IT was so scary. WE have 6 trees down in our back yard and 2 on our house. They didn't come through but they are still yucky!! Our backyard is a MESS!!
ReplyDeleteWe won't make that mistake again I guarantee that!!
Yes, it was scary and won't ever do it again!! We are totally going to Sea World tomorrow! See you there! Call my cell phone and we can meet up.
ReplyDeleteLooks like fun! Congrats on your baby boy!! Lauren is really starting to look like you I think!
ReplyDeleteMy mom and Chandler stayed for the hurricane. They are fine and nothing was damaged but they can't take the heat anymore without power. They packed up their food and headed up here. They are hoping school will be canceled more than just through Tuesday because they don't want to start back at school without power. Until then, they'll be here where the weather is in the 60s and we have lights!!
