March of Dimes

Our March for Babies 2009 Video

Team Guinn Triplets was recently honored as a Top Family Team for 2008, raising $3305...INCREDIBLE! We understand that this year may be more difficult to raise money due to the economy so we've been trying to think of creative ways to increase our team's total. I tried to talk Patrick into shaving his head if we raised a certain amount (he vetoed that idea very quickly!!!), we thought about shaving the kids heads (I vetoed that idea!) and we finally came up with a plan. Since there likely wouldn't be Guinn Triplets without the March of Dimes, there ultimately wouldn't be The Guinn Triplets blog. So... for the month of April, Lathan, Lauren & Logan's blog will be ultra private and only available to those readers who donate $5 (or more) to our March for Babies Team. We currently have over 300 invited readers and we're imagining if everyone did just a little, that we could once again pull off a nice grand total.

What does your $5 get you???? A promise of DAILY updates your favorite trio and their new little brother!

Just click here to make your donation...Hurry, April 1st is just around the corner and I know some of you won't want to miss one day of your Guinn blog fix!

This year's walk is April 26th...the same weekend again as the trio's birthday! We'll have shirts and hope to once again have one of the largest team's walking for our area. Who wants to join us??? Email me (christmasvacation@gmail.com) and I'll set you up!

London Two Months

Happy Birthday Little Guy!

London celebrated TWO whole months last Friday :)

He's a growing boy and weighed in at 11lbs 8ozs for his appointment on Thursday. That puts him at 46% for weight and his length of 23 inches plots at 56%.

We Love You London!

SeaWorld

Aunt Pammie is on Spring Break so we took a little trip earlier this week visit SeaWorld...

Lauren ready to go (wearing Mommy's shoes!)

Lauren giving London some cuddle time before getting in the car...

Lathan, Lauren & London (Logan was finishing up The Lion King and didn't have time for a picture)

The Triplets at our Hotel (Lathan came up with a new version of Its A Small World, and had the trio singing "Its a SEAWORLD After All" all day...it was too cute!)

Waking Up on St. Patrick's Day in their jammies from Aunt Pammie

Ready to see SHAMU!

It was very crowded and the lines to get tickets were LONG. Aunt Pammie ended up taking London to sit in the shade while I waited in line with the triplets. A Seaworld employee came over to talk to us (he thought the Choo Choo Wagon was pretty nifty) and started playing with the trio. He walked away for a minute and then came back and told us to follow him. He took us up to a ticket booth at the front of the line, saving us at least 30 minutes. Woohoo for cute kids!!!

Sickies

My babies are sick...ALL OF THEM :(

London started feeling bad at the beginning of the week, followed by Lathan and then Lauren last night. Since the weekend was approaching and no one seemed to be getting better we made a trip in to see Dr Savrick.

Waiting for the elevator feeling puny...

Girl Scout Cookies perked them up a little though! (Yep, they're in their pj's! It takes a lot of planning to get out the door these days so throwing in an unexpected trip to the med center with little time to prepare meant that we had to prioritize. It was cold and rainy today anyway and if I had been given the choice, I would have stayed in my jammies too!)

Diagnosis:
Lathan - Sinus Infection
Lauren - The beginning of ear infections
London - A virus. He had to have blood work since he was so young and because the doctor didn't want to put him on an antibiotic unless she absolutely had to (the triplets, Logan especially, were very concerned and ticked at the nurse who hurt their baby brother!). His white blood count was good, his ears were clear and so was his throat and he hasn't had fever since last night...hopefully he's on the mend.
Logan - We didn't schedule an appointment for Logan because he hadn't shown any signs of being sick. Just to be safe, Dr Savrick checked his ears and throat though and said they looked good. We were crossing our fingers that he didn't catch anything the others had but tonight, right before bed, he started running a fever...darn it.

New Nap Spot

After lunch today, I had the trio sit on the stairs while I cleaned up before naptime. Logan (who is coming up with all kinds of "plans" these days) tried to convince me (and his siblings) that they should just nap on the stairs today. He even picked out which step each one would use...

Now they've been known to be able to fall asleep and nap just about anywhere but knowing how soundly they sleep, I was a little worried that the stairs might not be such a good idea! Nice try though Logan!
