Mommy's Birthday

Man on a mission

Stopping to toot his own horn :)

Out to dinner for my birthday...London wondering why in the world I'm wearing that hat!

One quick pic before we got in our jammies. The kids made me a birthday cake (with the help of Grammie) and a giant birthday card (thank you Aunt Pammie)!

Such a great birthday (minus the car getting broken into at the restaurant...luckily our car had just been cleaned out and there wasn't anything to take...either that or Patrick thinks they saw 4 car seats and felt sorry for us! They did damage the driver's side door though and the lock is all messed up. Boo for bad guys!)

Logan Skateboard

Logan - Christmas Morning

And they said he may never walk...

Christmas Day

Santa Came!!!

Christmas Morning at Our House

After we did our little family Christmas, we moved on to Christmas at Aunt Sandy, Uncle Jake's and Maw Maw's (along with The Dugats and Grandma & Grandpa of course!). We ate breakfast and dug into MORE gifts!

Guitars!!!

Lauren's New Dollhouse

Lathan digging in to his massive STUFFED stocking!

London getting some Maw Maw love :)

Right after we opened gifts the power went out. Aunt Sandy and the triplets went for a walk to the neighbors to get the scoop. The entire neighborhood was without electricity putting a real damper on cooking the big Christmas meal! We were seconds away from loading up the food and heading to back to our house to finish when the power came back on. Whew!!!

The kids got to play outside while dinner finished cooking...

Logan trying out his new skateboard!

A little help from Grandpa

Patrick and I really debated whether or not Loggie should have a skateboard. We didn't feel like he was quite old enough but also didn't want for him to be the only one who didn't get what he asked for from Santa. I tried to tell him that Santa might bring him a scooter instead and that maybe he could get a skateboard when he was a little older but Logan insisted that he was "the oldest" and that Santa knew he could handle a skateboard. And you know what...Logan was right and he is actually fairly good at the skateboard (for a three year old at least!). He wears pads from head to toe and isn't allowed to even sit on the skateboard without the proper gear.

He's even got some moves already!

Loggie told me later that this was the best day of his life!!!

Silly London

Lauren getting a skateboarding lesson from Logan (and some assistance from Grandpa!)

Baby Girl needed LOTS of assistance!

She was quite the noodle on the skateboard :)

She was much better off sitting and scooting!

Aunt Sandy let Lauren sneak tastes of all the pies :)

Logan decided it was time to eat!

After a super yummy lunch we packed up and made our way to Grammie's house. The kids napped and then it was time for MORE food and MORE presents!

We sang Happy Birthday to Jesus and had cupcakes to celebrate. Nay Nay thought the cupcakes were a brillant idea :)
