One Year Ago
August 28, 2006

And then today,
August 29, 2007

Today was our 16 month well baby checkup.

Lathan fresh off the scale weighing in at a heafty 25lbs 9ozs...SUPER BABY!!!
(Could he be any cuter!?!?!)

Dr. Savrick was VERY pleased with everyone's growth. Lathan has always been a champ when it comes to growing and now Lauren & Logan are really starting to catch on (especially in the length department!).

Our current standings:

Lathan Weight
25lbs 8ozs (58%)

Lathan Height
32 1/2 inches (79%)

Lauren Weight
20lbs 3ozs (9%)

Lauren Height
31 1/2 inches (78%...just three months ago she was only in the 25% for length!!!)

Logan Weight
22 lbs 3ozs (15%)

Logan Height
31 inches (34%...just three months ago he was only in the 5% for length!!!)

Leaving Dr. Savrick's office. We don't need to be seen again until we're TWO!!!

We finished off the day at Luby's (Kids Eat Free Wednesday Nights!!!)

Happy Boys!

And that's pretty much all I have to report!

P.S.
We did get a special visit from Uncle Mark last night. We sure do miss his weekly visits!!!

CoSleeping

CoSleeping can be interesting with triplets...especially with Miss Lauren who is a bit active when she sleeps!

Grow Lauren!!!

We've been weighing Lauren almost daily, waiting for her to hit the 20lb mark so that we could adjust her car seat and let her face the front. Today she did it (with the help of some Rocky Road ice cream and a few potato chips...whatever works!!!)

Playdate & Maw Maw's

Today, Bobbi Jo and I took the kiddos down to the Children's Museum...

Nuggets Anyone???

All of the kids (including Big Sister Reagan although Lathan's head is blocking her!)

I wonder what draws so much attention when we all pass by!?!?!

The Wells Quads have an AMAZING big sister. She is so good to all of the babies and I think its really neat how helpful and caring she is around all of the youngsters.

Reagan & Lathan

She even helped pull our wagon!!!

The Guinn Triplets had a ball and were all zonked out before we even left the parking lot!

After the museum, we picked up Daddy from work and went for an overdue visit to Maw Maw's. The babies stripped down for a barbeque dinner and then played a little outside.

And to top it all off, the babies were treated to Teddy Grahams...compliments of one special Maw Maw!!!

What a fun day!!!

Fa la la la la

We get plenty of attention, everywhere we go, as it is. Not only do we have three babies and a monstrous stroller, now the Guinn Triplets have formed their own choir and these past few days have made sure that everyone HEARS us coming as well!

One usually starts the ruckus and the others follow suit!

Say it isn't so...

Aunt Pammie goes back to work this week...NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

She actually deserted us on Friday for a teacher meeting and then this week she starts back for good with more meetings and events to prepare for a new set of stinky 1st graders that will steal her from us. We're not bitter though!

We had SO much fun going all sorts of places from Chuck E Cheeses, the Aquarium, Stephenville, Florida, the Mall, Market Street, the Children's Museum etc and loved having Aunt Pammie around just to hang out and play. We are going to miss her TERRIBLY (although she'll still be over most every evening!!!!)

You're the BEST Aunt Pammie and WE LOVE YOU!!!! Sniff Sniff.

Growing Right Along!

When the babies were in the NICU I was always amazed at how big their pictures made them look. It was really hard to tell in a photo just how tiny they really were. I wanted to take the classic preemie picture with Patrick's wedding ring on their arm but there were always so many wires in the way and in the beginning they were so fragile, I just didn't want to bother them.

When they were about a month old, Aunt JuJu got them these little finger puppets from Pottery Barn Kids...they were the perfect size for our little ones!

May 26, 2006 (One month old)

Lathan (3lbs 13.7oz)

And then today, almost 15 months later...

Lathan (24lbs)

Lauren (3lbs 8.8ozs)

Lauren (19lbs)

Logan (4lbs .2ozs - BIG boy!!!)

Logan (21.5lbs)

And just for fun, a little video of our lunch today. We recently took the trays off of the trios highchairs and we pull them straight up to the table. They LOVE the new setup...its like eating lunch/dinner with little grownups!

Aquarium

Today Aunt Pammie and I drove the little ones down to Galveston to go to the Moody Gardens Aquarium.

Dippin Dots
(A new favorite that the Great Aunt Sue got us hooked on!!!)

The lighting was funny so I got better videos than still pics. Here are some short favorites...

The Seals

Finding Nemo

The Penguins

The Aquarium!!!

Although I know the babies had a great time, I think they had more fun riding up and down the ramps and banging on the glass than anything! Huge seals and cute little penguins would come right up next to them and the babies seemed unfazed...like it was nothing out of the ordinary for them! Aunt Pammie suggested that next time we just take them to a doctor's office for a quick look at the fishies instead of driving nearly 4 hours roundtrip and paying for admission!!!
