We arrived back safely, but sickly in Houston on Saturday. Turns out 2 plane rides and 6 days at an amusement park were a little too much for their immune systems.
Saturday morning all of the babies woke up feeling icky. Lauren threw up on the way to the airport and then again on the flight. Poor baby was stripped down to her diaper and then when we went to baggage claim to get our suitcases, we found out that the bag containing ALL of the babies' clothes had been lost (we wouldn't get it back until early Sunday morning). To top it all off, this time they broke Emmy's car seat...ugh!
Overall the little ones were EXCELLENT on the flight and slept most of the way. Even sick (and with what would turn into 6 major ear infections) we were still getting compliments on how good they were.
Lauren & Daddy
Sunday they continued to not feel well so on Monday we took them all in to see Dr. Savrick.
Back in our designated room #15...
Lathan was feeling so bad they he just kept laying down and whimpering (he didn't want to be held or else I definetly would have been holding him instead of taking his picture!)...
Turns out the all 3 have ear infections (that's 6 out of 6 total ears) so bad in fact that they were not only prescribed a heavy duty antibiotic, but also baby vicodin for pain.
They were feeling a little better yesterday afternoon, so while our prescriptions were being filled we stopped at Chic fil A to get them some lunch.
We gave them all of their medicines last night but they still felt pretty bad and had trouble sleeping. Poor Logan's fever got up to 103.7 (underarm) at one point.
Today they are just pitiful. Thankfully they're all sleeping soundly right now and hopefully these medicines will all kick in big time and they'll start feeling MUCH better very soon!
Poor babies!
ReplyDeleteI hate hearing they're sick. I hope everyone starts feeling better soon.

ReplyDeletePoor little ones, I'm so sorry they feel bad! That's no fun at all. I can't believe the airline broke another carseat and lost the babies' luggage, that's terrible. Glad you made it home safely.
