Today we went back to the Magic Kingdom...
We started the morning with a frozen juice drink...
and then went to watch the Tiki Birds
Lathan & Lauren LOVED the Tiki Room and both danced and clapped as the birds swung overhead. Logan pitched fits and spent a lot of the show on the floor!!! He much prefered the boat ride on the Pirates of the Carribean!

Lauren couldn't keep her little eyes open and fell asleep just before we went in for the ride.
Logan fell asleep, face down, in between Grammie & Aunt Pammie's laps during the ride!

Once everyone woke up we went on over to Toon Town and met Mickey Mouse!
Lauren thought Mickey was cool and was talking to him and even reached out and touched his nose. She did however, jump about 4 feet went to touch her hand!
Logan didn't seem to care one way or the other.
Lathan had a minor meltdown!
After our meeting, we played a little in the play area...
All of the babies got Baby Mickey's and Minnie's as their souveniors for the trip.

It's A Small World seems to be a favorite amoungst the trio (and actually Emmy too!) so we went to ride it for a third time.

It was about time for dinner and getting close to parade time, so we staked out a place in front of the castle while Grammie took our orders and made a food run. We weren't there very long before the skies opened up and we decided we needed to leave.
Everyone was SOAKING wet and pretty chilly. We got the babies sweatshirts to keep them warm and dry for the drive back to the hotel. Lathan fell asleep in the car (and stayed that way!) and Logan and Lauren went down shortly after we got home.

We are having a GREAT time and can't wait to go back for more!!!
So sad Logan missed the show because he pitched a fit. He must get that from his Aunt Pammie. When she doesn't like something, she does the same thing. I can't tell you how many times I had to pick her up off the floor in College because she was kicking and screaming because she didn't get what she wanted.

what a BLAST! you are really inspiring me to take Faith and Baby Carter to Disney next year! Faith would LOVE it. Keep taking lots of pictures! We're loving it!

ReplyDeleteAhhhhh, your pictures bring back memories. We went to Disney this past May with both families...Sammy was 16 months old:) ahhhhh- good times- Enjoy every moment!:)
ReplyDeleteI took my boys to Disney World several times. I loved to see the "magic" in their eyes. The first time we went they were three and seven, and even went again when they were 13 and 17 years old, so you know we loved it. There are new things, but the Pirates is a good memory!!!!
