Its about that time! On Sunday, April 29th we'll be heading up to the front of The Woodlands for the annual March of Dimes WalkAmerica and we can't wait! This will be our first year to walk as a family team and we want it to be big!
We're hoping that Team Guinn Triplets is HUGE and that as many of our friends and family as possible will walk with us. Its our turn to give back and support an organization that means so much to us.
We'll be walking this year, obviously in honor of Lathan, Logan and Lauren who lives were saved due to March of Dimes medical breakthroughs, a major one being artificial surfactant.
We watched our preemies fight each and every day to breath and stay alive and we've vowed to do our part to ensure all other preemies have happy endings just like ours.
We'll also be walking in honor of all our preemie buddies including:
Kennedy, Taylor, Madison, McKinley surviving quintuplets born at 26 weeks and their angel brother Carter.
Emmy, Nicholas & Willam, triplets born at 32 weeks who were our roomies in the NICU.
For Makenna, Isabelle and Alyssa...The Georgia Guinn Triplets!!!

Edwin & Serena these little miracles were born at 23 weeks both weighing 1 lb 3oz. The little girl dropped down to 14oz and they were told that the little boy had a 0% chance of surviving. Check them out now!!!

Your video made me cry. It is beautiful! Your support since I've started blogging has done so much for me. Logan, Lauren and Lathan are so beautiful and are so blessed to have a Mom like you.

ReplyDeleteI am sitting here crying my eyes out. The video was amazing, and I am so honored that you included our girls in your premie friends. I wish I could drive the 12+ hours to join you in the walk. For those who have been through the roller coaster that is prematurity, you know that it sucks, but to have babies saved through medical breakthroughs thanks to the March of Dimes is the GREATEST GIFT ever given.

ReplyDeleteI came across your blog recently, and I have finally gotten caught up on your story. Your babies are so beautiful, and they look so sweet! They are very blessed to have such loving parents.
ReplyDeleteWe had twin boys in December 2005, they were born at 25 & 26 weeks. We lost Logan last May, but his twin Cooper is 15 months old and thriving.
Good luck with your walk, we will be walking on April 29th.
Wow...what a difference the last year has made! God is so very good to our family. Logan, Lauren, and Lathan are definitely all miracle babies. I can't believe it is time for their 1st birthday and the March of Dimes walk. When Pam, Mom, and I walked last year we were walking probably around the time those videos were taken.
