Finally found some time to add some readers to the blog!
Thanks to everyone for being so supportive of our decision to go private. I just invited over 262 people who requested to be readers so I'm not sure we're totally private, but I do feel better "knowing" who's checking in on us! And 262 sure does seem more manageable than the 550 - 750 per day that we were getting (and that number was for UNIQUE guests...actual page loads per day were in the thousands!).
Anyway, welcome back and thanks for being patient!

Oh...and if you wrote me a question or a comment with your invite request, I just haven't had a chance to respond. I'll try to this weekend! Also, if you didn't request an invite and you're wondering why you're here...your name was in my address book and I just copied it over!!!

I mean really though, you never know what creeps are out there … I worry about the same thing with my blog sometimes, but considering I have on average one hit a day, I have nothing to worry about.

Sometimes I check your blog for a new post two/three times a work day ... so if it makes you feel any better you can subtract my bit from your 1,000 random page loads a day. ReplyDeleteIt is SO creepy to think about some of the "internet" lurkers out there. I'm glad you went private. With THAT many hits a day, it's kind of scary. I don't see how you keep up with all of it. I've given up on my temporarily.
