Little Dippers

The babies are now addicted to dipping sauces. If they catch anyone with hot sauce, ranch, honey mustard or ketchup they'll spend the rest of their meal begging for a dip. Once their food is soaked, they'll lick off the sauce and beg for another dip. This continues until their food either disintegrates or falls apart in the dipping container.

Once there is nothing else to dip, they like to drink the sauce!

Its a terribly messy habit!!!

We spent last week with Aunt Ju Ju and Emmy. On Monday we all went to lunch at Brooklyn Bagel and then did a little shopping. We bought another trailer for our wagon so that Emmy (and other friends) can ride with us.

Logan holds on to Emmy anytime the wagon is moving...and not just occasionally...each time we took them out last week, Logan made sure Emmy was always protected!

We had them dressed alike (of course!) so we tried to get a cute group picture of them. (And I thought trying to get 3 babies looking/smiling was difficult...add one more and its an impossible task!)

Lauren, Lathan, Emmy & Logan

Lathan Playing Peekaboo

They were in exceptionally good moods...especially Lauren!

This one was good of my kids...

With a quick (and messy) photoshop touchup, we were able to add in Emmy

The trio love their cousin Emmy, and Logan is especially affectionate. He gives Emmy kisses ALL THE TIME!

And she loves on him right back!

On Tuesday, Aunt Natalie and Miss Avery came to play...

Then on Wednesday we went to the mall.

We were dressed in our Christmas pj's (actually just the babies) for a studio picture. While we were waiting we passed by Santa's house. There wasn't anyone else in line so Santa got to play with the babies for a while.

When he was far away, everyone was happy!

They were even ok when he came over to talk to them.

They all blew kisses...

And were even friendly when he knelt down and started playing peekaboo...

Everyone seemed to have warmed up to the guy so he came around the fence and let the babies touch him.

Lathan even gave him five!

The triplet + Santa + beautiful baby (Emmy) combo started to draw a pretty big crowd so Santa returned to his chair. We waited a minute or two and then joined him in his cottage for a picture (which you all know how that turned out!) Suddenly when we were on his turf, the babies wanted nothing to do with him!

The plan was for Emmy to be in our picture but there just wasn't room (and it probably was not safe given the tantrums two of mine were throwing!) I think Emmy appreciated her alone time with Santa...isn't she sweet!!!

After our disaster with Santa, we made our way down to the Picture People. Once again, they were perfect just minutes before we needed them to be...

But then once we tried for a picture, the crazies came out! Logan, who is usually very independent, wouldn't let us put him down. He cried and cried and refused to sit for any of the pictures. We tried everything from throwing balls, dancing around like fools, and finally gave into bottles. Still we weren't able to get a decent shot of the 4 babies.

This picture is the ONLY one out of hundreds taken, that even remotely looked ok. Good thing we have a session scheduled with Miss Leah here soon!

  5. I can't believe that the kids like the hot sauses so well! That is soooo interesting! I couldn't possibly imagine Sam doing that! Are you a hot sause person?

    Anyways adorable pictures as always!

Also do the kids always stay so nicely in the wagons....because we have a wagon for Sammy and I can only get about one house down the street before he is trying to stand up and get out.....If I had three like him, I would never be able to go anywhere! ha ha

    I am impressed!
