What a great weekend! On Saturday, Patrick and I had a booth at the Mom's Of Multiples Buy/Sell and were able to clear out lots of the baby stuff that we no longer need. I had a really hard time letting go of some of the smaller infant clothes but we now have more room and we made some extra $$$.
Later that afternoon, we got our little ones dressed and ready for the RODEO!!!

We made a stop at Papasitto's for a late lunch...
Lathan (His new favorite - flour tortillas, Logan's new favorite - CHARRO BEANS!!!)
Captain Kurt and Aunt Natalie joined us for lunch and then we all piled (literally) into our Explorer and we were on our way!

This was the babies first concert (Martina McBride)

The music was actually very loud so we spent most of the time watching (and listening) through the glass doors.

Once the concert was over, we met Aunt Pammie and Jason outside at the Carnival.

No rides for the babies this year but they did enjoy a carmel apple!
We had so much fun and we want to thank Mr. Rick for making it all possible!!!
On Sunday we went to Granny and Grandpa's for dinner. We sat outside by the pool and enjoyed the nice weather.

Grandpa grilled and Logan helped!

The boys would have jumped into the water if we would have let them. Instead, since the water was a little chilly, Daddy held on to them and let them splash!

Lauren (She preferred to stay dry!)
When the sun went down it started getting cool, so we moved the party inside and enjoyed a little television.

Now we're home, the babies and Daddy are all asleep and I'm off to join them!

Hey Neighbor
ReplyDeleteI'm getting ready to do the Just Between Friends sale. My twins have alot of stuff to get rid of. Hard to part with them. My husband doesn't know of the ever large box of items underneath the kids' cribs! lol
Great pics as always.

Okay, you have to share your secert. How to do manage to get your kids out all the time. I took mine to Target yesterday and almost has a breakdown. Did you start this young and just train them? I am so envious of your ability to take them everywhere. Post some of your tricks of the trade.

Hi Stephanie,
ReplyDeleteMy name is Michelle Hall and you know my MOm Charla Wilson. Our Moms work together at Central Office. I love following your blog, your babies are such miracles and they are so beautiful. I have a quick question I want to make a diaper cake like you did, I usually make a big one, but I like the smaller one better, where did you find the color plate and what size diapers did you use for the tiers in the cake. Thanks, you can e-mail me at Sooners90@aol.com.
How fun! Your blog is so much fun to read! I love those rodeo shirts - did you make them? Hunter has the same (large) cowboy hat! The pool in the background of your photos is gorgeous! Love it! In the month that I've been reading your blog, your babies have grown up so much!
ReplyDeleteOh, I remember you mentioning that you really wish you could get a better camera (Canon Rebel XTI I thought you mentioned?) Well, I bought a new Nikon D80 last weekend (was a toss up between that and the Rebel XTI) and the difference in the quality of the photos it takes is like night and day! If you are considering a better camera, definitely think about a Nikon. I think the colors that come out of it are better than in real life. :-)

ReplyDeleteThey are so, so cute! What else is there to say? They are a really amazing threesome and it sounds like you guys had a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteYou don't know me, I linked through a friends blog to yours once & I just keep getting drawn back here. Your babies are just the cutest little things I have ever seen & you take great pictures of them.
ReplyDeleteP.S. I too cannot believe how much you get out with them.
