Spiderman

I believe Separation Anxiety is in full force at our house.

Right now we're in a phase where both Lauren and Lathan want to be held 24 hours a day. The real catch is that if I put either one down to do anything else (feed, change, bath) or heaven forbid walk out of their sight, they literally scream. I think that Lauren may just be copying Lathan because if I look at her during the scream she cracks up laughing. Lathan on the other hand is completely serious and has started to pitch fits, arching his back and stomping his feet if he doesn't get his way. Then there's Logan, who pretty much just sits back and watches Lathan and Lauren make fools of themselves! For the most part, he is very much the most easy going of the three, only his new thing is to climb, which really keeps us on our toes.

Here he is climbing the OUTSIDE of the playpen. (He's got lots of other Spiderman moves, they just usually happen too quickly for me to (safely) grab the camera!)

He's just so cool!

  1. Aaahhh separation anxiety...is it bad that I asked the developmental specialist and developmental Dr. in the NICU about it a whole bunch of times and secretly couldn't wait until I experienced it? haha. I guess because we were unnaturally torn apart with the whole being born way too early thing, I feared they would never bond with me (I definitely bonded with them, but you know you hear the whole..."you should have your baby on your chest IMMEDIATELY after birth to have the bonding begin.") Anyway, I know they know who I am, and prefer me to others already. I'm sure it can be stressful with three...but isn't is nice to know they love and want Mommy?! :)
    As always...so cute!

  2. I love the little Spiderman picture! I just hope he never gets into some sort of mountain climbing! And I just can't see Lathan stomping his feet and getting mad like that...he's just too sweet :)

  4. I'm glad to hear that the babies are developing just fine...fits are just a wonderful part of having toddlers. Don't think it will end anytime soon!

But that is hilarious about Lauren plotting against her brother already. They're all just adorable.
