Before we left for Colorado, I took London in to see Dr Savrick to have his ears checked. He was acting suspicious and I knew we didn't want to be stuck in a cabin in the mountains with untreated ear infections.

Ever since his last round of shots, London doesn't care for pedi visits. When I sat him on the table, he started signing "All Done!"

While we were waiting I kept asking him if his ears hurt, but he'd just point to the ouchie on his knee and say "ow". Such a goober!

Sure enough, both ear were infected. We got an antibiotic and were on our way.

Then on the night before we left, Lauren started feeling bad. By the time she got up the next morning we knew we had to take her in. I found a minor emergency clinic and thought they'd check her out, give us an antiobiotic and send us on our way. When the nurse practicioner came in though, she decided that Lauren couldn't be treated at the clinic and she sent us to the ER. There she was checked out, given an antiobiotic and we were finally able to hit the road!

We were Lubbock bound. One set of double ear infections, one UTI, and just for fun between Houston and Lubbock we added one puking episode (Logan) and then Patrick got pulled over (he was given an warning for driving in the left lane). We got to our hotel super late...gave the kids their medicines and all got a good nights sleep.

The next morning, on our way out of town, we stopped by campus to let the kids see where Mommy and Daddy met!

We weren't too far out of town before the kids needed a potty break. There were no places to stop so the side of the road was our only choice!

Loggie threw up one more time, but we still just thought he was car sick. Our theory would prove to be wrong the next day when Lathan joined the sick crew...ugh.
