Colorado Day One

Our cabin was in Southfork, and is owned by Emmy and Lucy's Tootsie and Pop. It is a non working ranch, surrounded by two National Forests with a little creek running right off of the porch. Mountains infested with bears (hee hee!!!) can be seen out every window...its really beautiful to see.

Our first adventure was a little hike through the ranch, to an area for a picnic and some kite flying.

Our fun was cut short by a rain storm but the picnic was eaten, the kites were flown so we called it a success!

That night for dinner, Sue and Marty served Crawfish Fetuccini. The kids ate on the porch with Ju Ju and Josh.

Wrong...Lathan started his bout with the stomach bug on Monday evening. Poor baby. And now we realized that Logan's episodes on the trip to Colorado were not due to motion sickness, but were indeed a tummy virus. The cabin of 17 was infected!
