Colorado Day 2

Colorado Day Two

Lauren, London and Lathan all woke up sick but it didn't slow them down. They only felt bad right before they'd throw up, otherwise they had no fever and acted just fine. We decided sitting in a cabin all day wouldn't do them any good, so we loaded up the car and got to have fun with the rest of the family.

We drove up a mountain to a beautiful lake and set up camp for a picnic....

We weren't there long...it started to rain, Lathan threw up and pretty randomly a truck pulled up and said they were building a pier right where we were standing! So we packed up and headed further up the mountain...

Hiking back to the car. It started to rain on our way back but the trees were so dense we didn't get wet!

When we got back, Logan started throwing up again. Thankfully Grammie, Sue and Pammie were willing to drive about 45 minutes - one way - to restock our pedialyte, 7up and Emetrol (in addition to the Pepto and Dramamine they had gone out to get us the night before!). We had a prescription called in too, but there were no pharmacies open. Luckily we had a quiet night and it was the end of the kids being sick (for a few days at least). The adults were not so fortunate and at least one of us was sick each day/night for the rest of the week :(
