Our drive back home was interesting. We left the cabin and didn't get five minutes down the road before London started puking...EVERYWHERE. We pulled over and cleaned him up and had to take his car seat apart. 30 plus minutes later we were back on the road and on the phone with our pedi office getting a Zofran prescription called in. Fearing they would all be sick, we gave everyone Dramamine and instructions on what to do if they felt sick (the biggest key being to tell us so that car seat covers could be spared!).
Signs we don't see in Texas...the one right before this was a BEAR crossing!
We passed this on the way to Colorado and after looking it up on the internet we decided it was a "must see". You can drive all the way to the top of this volcano and look straight down to the middle.
On top of the volcano...driving back down...there were no guard rails, it was pretty scary!
Head phones and Ipads (Fisher Price iXL's) made the trip VERY nice. Thank you Aunt Sue and Maw Maw. The kids LOVE them!!!
Besides more puking and not being able to find a hotel, the rest of the drive was pretty uneventful...whew! We were SUPER glad to be back home :)
