DECEMBER 24th...
On Christmas Eve we started out at Granny & Grandpa's for a get together that included Granny and Grandpa (of course), Baubka, Bob & Kecia and their son Gabriel.
(Granny & Lauren)
(Baubka & Logan)
(Logan & Kecia, Lathan & Bob)
(Baubka and Grandpa helped Lauren open up her very nice gifts.)
From there we headed over to Grammie's to have dinner and get ready for Christmas Eve mass. However, instead of church we ended up taking Grammie to the hospital where she would spend the night and await surgery Christmas day. Thankfully the specialist who saw her Christmas morning felt like the issue had a chance of resolving on its on so he sent her home for the week to see what happens. We're still waiting!!!
DECEMBER 25th
(Lathan & Grandpa)
(Lauren & Maw Maw)
There were LOTS of new toys...
(Triplets in the Choo Choo Wagon)
And LOTS of good company!!!
(Logan & Uncle Jake)
(Lauren & Aunt Sandy)
(Lathan & Grandma)
After a short visit it was time to head back North to Grammie's for dinner.
Aunt Ju Ju and Aunt Pammie did ALL of the cooking (WOW) since Grammie was sick. Very impressive girls!!! We opened more presents and got to visit more of our wonderful family!
(Logan & Aunt Tonya)
Aunt Pammie bought the babies New Balance tennis shoes. Lauren's are pink like Aunt JuJu's.
And the boys' are gray like Mommy's and Aunt Pammie's!
And even though it seemed like the babies had gotten everything imaginable, Santa still hadn't visited! When Mommy and her sisters took Grammie to the hospital, Daddy had made a call to the North Pole and asked for a rain check on the triplets goodies. Instead of visiting our house on Christmas Eve, Santa was scheduled to arrive at our place Christmas night. So we dressed the babies in their Christmas PJ's and headed back home so we wouldn't miss him!
DECEMBER 26th
The babies aren't always awake at the same time, but since we wanted for all three to see what Santa brought together we had to wake poor Logan up. He wasn't pleased...
Daddy scooped the trio up and brought them downstairs.
Good babies indeed!!!
Lauren and her first baby doll!
Looks like everyone hit the jackpot!
Each baby got a chair from Pottery Barn, perfectly sized for their little bodies! These will be perfect for story time.
So after our three day gift extravaganza here are the toys and goodies that the babies ended up with. Not pictured are the Choo Choo wagon and the DVD players for their car seats!!! UNBELIEVABLE!
And as if that wasn't enough, we asked for sleepers and we got much needed SLEEPERS!!! Twenty seven to be exact!
Where we'll put all of this stuff is beyond me but it sure is a nice problem to have. (The "too many presents", not necessarily the "too small house"!!!)
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU to all of our family and friends who helped make this Christmas so special!
And wanna know one of the best presents of the season??? Grandma Wanna Be is now officially Grandma Gonna Be! Grandma and Grandpa got engaged on Saturday...we are SO excited for both of them!!!
(An outdated picture, I know. We'll fix that next visit!)
The End.
