Dancing with Avery

London and Avery waiting for Lauren to get out of ballet. I'm pretty sure London enjoyed his alone time with Miss Avery!!!

Avery got to come home with us and London insisted that he sit in the back row with the girls. He usually sits in the middle row, facing backwards but we bent the rules a little for this special treat :)

Something was hilarious!?!?!

A bunch of characters...

Lunch time

And then some dance time!!!

Couples dances

Avery pulled out all of her moves!!!

I thought this was funny...check out Lauren in the corner, taking off her Minnie Mouse dress...

Avery seemed shocked that Lauren took it off!

Lauren and Hannah

We sure do love those Leslie girls!!!

Lovie's Airplane

London is a pretty easy going guy and gets along perfectly with the triplets...UNLESS they touch, get near, look at, etc his most prized possession - his Mickey Mouse Airplane!
He absolutely LOVES this toy. If he's upset or needs to be distracted all I have to say is "where's your airplane" and he'll take off running for it. He's kind of a maniac pushing it around but we can hear it coming and have learned to get out of his way!

And just because I think this is cute...London thinks the mouse on the kid computer is a phone. He'll pick it up, hold it to his ear and say "da da"!

Gosh I love this boy!

At the pool

Granny and Grandpa had us over for lunch and a swim...

Mommy & Lauren

Just playing...

I love summer time at the pool!

Market Street and Cheescake Factory

Waiting for the trolley at Market Street (which never came!!!)

We took the kids to Barnes and Noble to pick out a book...

and then to the Cheesecake Factory for dinner and desert!

Ice Cream for all!!!

Watching the water taxis...a pretty perfect Friday night!

Naughty Baby

I heard some splashing in the bathroom and ran to find Mr London, cleaning the potty with Daddy's toothbrush!

He was very proud of himself!

Worst part is, he put it right back where he found it. We're hoping this was his first time to do it (though he's done it a couple of times since...like when we were in a hotel and didn't have a cabinet to hide the brushes!!!)

So yucky...he was off to the bath for a sanitizing session right after this pic and the toothbrush found a new home in the trashcan!!!!

Stepping Stones

I was tricked by Aunt JuJu in thinking this would be a good activity for the kids...
Actually I'll take the blame for it not going so well. I'm all for a mess, doesn't bother me at all, but this project was a disaster! My first mistake was letting the kids mix their own "concrete". I knew the kit only came with one pan so I bought three foil pie pans so that we could all mix together. Turns out there is a reason only one plate is included...it is nearly impossible to do more than one! Things were drying faster than I could stir...I'm pretty sure London may have eaten some of the mixture and we weren't able to get the stones flat (or add the kids handprints like I had wanted!). They had fun though and that's all that matters. I know we can do it better next time (I learned that Aunt JuJu mixes it up without kids and then once its dry lets them paint....ahhhh!)

Time to paint...we all love painting!!!

The lovely stones the kids gave Daddy to put in his garden :)

Class

Lauren started her 4th year of dance this year (which is also her 1st year of tap). She is SUPER excited each week and LOVES her teacher!

London and Hannah waiting for their big sisters...

Missy Moo

Avery & Lauren

Lauren likes the back of her leotard and wanted a picture. She likes it because she says it looks like a bra :)

After dance we went to Aunt Pammie's school to help her set up for her first day of classes...

Not sure how much we helped but we had fun!

Aunt Pammie didn't have her calendar set up yet, so the triplets made her one instead. See those tiny dots of paper!!!

We LOVE you Aunt Pammie...those 1st graders sure are lucky to get to spend their days with you!

On the road again...

Our drive back home was interesting. We left the cabin and didn't get five minutes down the road before London started puking...EVERYWHERE. We pulled over and cleaned him up and had to take his car seat apart. 30 plus minutes later we were back on the road and on the phone with our pedi office getting a Zofran prescription called in. Fearing they would all be sick, we gave everyone Dramamine and instructions on what to do if they felt sick (the biggest key being to tell us so that car seat covers could be spared!).
Signs we don't see in Texas...the one right before this was a BEAR crossing!

We passed this on the way to Colorado and after looking it up on the internet we decided it was a "must see". You can drive all the way to the top of this volcano and look straight down to the middle.

On top of the volcano...driving back down...there were no guard rails, it was pretty scary!

Head phones and Ipads (Fisher Price iXL's) made the trip VERY nice. Thank you Aunt Sue and Maw Maw. The kids LOVE them!!!

Besides more puking and not being able to find a hotel, the rest of the drive was pretty uneventful...whew! We were SUPER glad to be back home :)
