Baby A
Loggie Bear
The oldest of the Guinn babies.
Really the only one of the triplets to be called by name by the other two (though they pronounce it "Nogun")
Logan is a character and is definitely the comedian of the group. If he says something and likes your reaction, he'll say it over and over again!!!
Logan is one cool dude and has the hair to prove it! His hair naturally sticks straight up and fits his personality to a T!
Check out his hair compared to Lathan's...
This is how Logan falls asleep in the car. When the arms go up, we know its just a matter of time before the eyes start to shut!
Logan is tidy, just like his Daddy. He loves to sweep, wipe EVERYTHING with wipes, and constantly finds things to throw away (not always things WE would like thrown away but that's a different post!).
Logan is SUPER smart and ever since the week of his second birthday has been really talking up a storm. He went from saying just words to making up complete sentences, his first being "I'm on the computer!" He cracks me up with the things that he says. The other day we were sitting down eating lunch. He said "strawberries", so I asked him if he wanted some more. I stood up to get them and he said "No, no Mom, don't get up"!!! Daily he comes up with the funniest things!
His vocabulary also allows him to be the bossiest. He's constantly telling Lauren and Lathan that they are "too loud" or shouting out commands. Lauren usually does what he says but Lathan generally ignores him. I've caught him threatening Lauren with time out a couple of times which always makes me laugh!
When its time for diaper changes or getting out of the bath, Logan always calls out someone elses name so that he doesn't have to go first. He can also be pretty modest and shy. If he dirties his diaper (or makes a little toot!) he immediately tries to blame it on someone else. Sometimes he'll even tell me that Daddy did it even though Daddy's at work!
His favorite book is My Big Truck Book. His favorite is to point out the excavators (and he pronounces it PERFECTLY!). He also loves to point out school buses, trains, trucks and tractors when go out. He can spot them a mile away - he's definitely all boy!
His favorite foods: Peanut Butter, Cheerios, Strawberries, Bananas, Purple Grapes, Yogurt, Pudding, ALL Mexican food, Chicken Fingers, Fish Sticks and tops on his list would have to be Apple Juice. He wakes up asking for it (though for breakfast and dinner they all have to drink milk). He usually sucks down his milk and then starts asking for juice again!
He's VERY active and is the strongest of the three, though not always the bravest (which I think is a real blessing!!!). He is always running, jumping, and climbing but if you put him on something high (like the fort in the back yard or even just a chair) he freezes up or turns to slow motion!
Logan is also the most caring to babies and little ones (and he's always been like this). When Emmy or Avery are over, he's always giving them hugs and looking out for them. When Avery would sit at the table with the trio, he'd always get upset if I'd skip her when dishing out big kid food. I'd try and explain to him that she got he own special baby food, but he never seemed satisfied and always tried to offer her his food (which is why I had to sit her across the table from him!).
A few months ago, he picked up the bad habit of biting his nails. We weren't that surprised, his Daddy was a biter growing up and his Momma still is! He seems to be doing it less and less, which is great, but we'd really like to break him of it completely before it really catches on. He bites them down REALLY low and often cries (because it stings) when he gets his squirts of hand sanitizer. But if anyone could make nail biting cute...its Logan!
Logan is a lefty.
The boy LOVES, LOVES, LOVES his Daddy. All day long he tells me that Daddy drove to work...that he works on the computer...listens to music...and that when he comes home he wants to go outside. NOTHING lights up his face more than when Patrick walks in the door each evening. They have a really special bond!
And one of my favorite things about Logan is that EVERY morning I wake up, Logan rolls over with a HUGE smile and says "hi Mommy". Its the most perfect way to start each day!
Loggie Bear...WE LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have tears. That was perfect. We love you loggie.
ReplyDeleteI read Missy Moo's post first, so I am backing up to find out Logan. I love how you are getting "into" each baby's personality.
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, congratulations, Stephanie on your good news! I hadn't seen the triplets in awhile -- how precious! They are adorable...
