Our little ones...

All three babies look to be finishing off the week on good notes!

Logan hit the 5lb mark last night (he is a TUB!) and was started on one bottle feed per day. His head ultrasound from this week showed that his brain bleeds are not getting any worse and more than likely won't need treatment...yeah! He is being weaned from his oxygen and seems to be handling it very well. Go Logan!

Lathan became our first to officially start bottle feeds this week. He was very successful at his first bottle Wednesday, finishing it all within the 20 min "goal" range (he actually only took 15 min - what a champ!). He was doing so well that they have increased his bottle feeds to 2x day and let me give him one of the feeds this morning! He, too, is being weaned from his oxygen and doing very well. We found out this week that he has a hernia that will need to be surgically removed but hopefully we can wait until he is 55 weeks gestation when the surgery is fairly easy and considered day surgery. As for his head ultrasound results, they came back this morning and showed that the ventricles that were bleeding have now developed cysts. He will have another ultrasound next week and we hope to find out more info. We pretty much feel like we are going down the list of possible preemie problems and are just checking them all off...we are thankful though that they are all problems that we can/will get through!

Miss Lauren is recovering nicely from her tummy troubles although she is a little ticked going on 7 days with no food. We are able to hold her again and she is back in her cozy isolette protected from all of the noise and lights of the NICU. She got a central line put in so they are no longer having to start multiples IV's each day which I know she is happy about. She is right under 4lbs and cuter than ever!
