Disney Day 2

We started off the day/trip at Hollywood Studios. Logan, you REALLY wanted to train to become a Jedi and had been talking about it for months so it became my mission (and ultimately the mission of everyone on the trip!) to make this little dream come true. They only let a limited number of kids train each day and it only occurs on Saturday and Sunday - I was afraid this might be tough!

I researched it alot online, trying to find our best chance of making it in. I found out that we needed to be at the park for "Rope Drop" and that we'd need to run you and Lathan over to the sound stage for sign up. So that's exactly what we did! We all got up early, boarded the first bus of the day and headed to Hollywood Studios. We were there a good 30 minutes before the park opened and the lines were already starting to get thick. Daddy and Pammie had Loggie and Lathan ready to run for the sign up while the rest of us were going to head to Toy Story Mania to get our group fast passes.

Both of you, Lathan and Loggie, got interviewed and offered a spot for the first Jedi training of the day. Pammie said you both did great being asked questions and both said you were ready to fight Darth Vader but as soon as you walked outside, Lathan, you changed your mind and said you weren't ready to fight the dark side. Completely understandable...now we just had to see if Loggie was willing to do this on his own!

We all met at the stage in front of the new Star Wars ride and Daddy took you over to get in line for training. The cast member had some trivia questions and Logan you were right there with the big boys, ready to answer!

They gave you all a Jedi Robe, led you on to the stage, gave you a light saber (yours was green!)and taught you how to use it. Then, they put you all in the corner of the stage and Darth Vader arrived with 2 Stormtroopers. Some of the kids got upset and about half were escorted off the stage, too scared to fight Darth Vader (even some of the older kids left!). I was worried you were scared (your little legs were trembling!) but you caught my eye...I gave you a thumbs up and I could see in your face that you were ready to do this!

The Jedi Master stood next to you and coached you...Darth Vader was HUGE!

You did AWESOME and were so proud :) Yoda congratulated you all on mastering of the Force (again, you were very excited!!) and you were given a certificate (which you would try to sleep with later that night!)

We were all so proud of you! Lauren was one of your biggest cheerleaders!

Such a Daddy's Boy!

Mommy was so relieved afterwards! It started to drizzle right before the performance started and they could have called it off all together (and the rest of the shows for the day were already full)...lots of things could have gone wrong, but they didn't, you stayed brave and were one happy little boy for the rest of the day :)

Next it was on to Toy Story Mania (or Toy Story Maniac as you would call it Lathan!!!)! We got our Fast Passes and then stood in line to ride it.

Lauren and Pammie

Loggie and Grandma

Lathan rode with Grandpa and Lovies, you rode with me. That left Grammie and Daddy to ride together!

Picture with Buzz

Phineas & Ferb! While in line you guys were given tambourines to play to the song Gitchie Gitchee Goo...our favorite! (London you met Phineas & Ferb and even got their autograph but didn't want to be in the picture!)

We ate lunch at Pizza Planet and then we were off to Lights, Motors, Action! We had seen the show before but this was the first time since Lightning McQueen was added...exciting stuff!

Grandma let you use her camera, Lathan, to take pictures

Some pretty cool stunts!

Little London crashed during the show :)

While London napped, the triplets got to ride some rides. Loggie you were taken over to the Star Wars ride (and Grandma took you to the Star Wars gift shop!!!) and Lathan and Lauren got some more time on Toy Story Maniac and got to see The Little Mermaid show.

London woke up ready go...just in time...we still had lots to do!

We took our group pic on Hollywood Blvd before it got too dark...

Triplets and the Sorcerer Mickey Hat (London still kind of grumpy...just waking up)

Grammie and the grandbabies

Logan, you LOVE this Star Wars gun that Grandma got for you :)

Great Movie Ride...Wicked Witch!

Intense!!!

Daddy and Lauren dancing all the way to the Disney Junior Show

The Disney Junior Show has all of our morning favorites. London you especially liked it. Little Einsteins, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Handy Manny and they've now replaced Tigger & Pooh with Jake and the Neverland Pirates.

Now raise your hands as high as you can and say BLAST OFF!

We watched the Beauty and The Beast Show and then it was time for Fantamic. We had Magic Hours at the park that night so after dinner we got to ride even more rides. Loggie you wanted to ride Tower of Terror, you were actually pretty insistent that you could do it, so Grandpa, Grandma and I took you. You did great on it...held my arm REALLY tight and loved it at the end!!! Grandpa thought you were so brave so he bought you a shirt from the ride (which you wear with such pride!!!)

We ended the night with another round of Toy Story Mania and then it was back to the hotel and some rest before another big day!
