Disney Day 1

We got to Orlando around midnight on Saturday night. Our hotel was overbooked and we had to wait A LONG time for a room, but the kids were in great moods and pretty patient considering the cirumstances!

Sunday morning we got a late start to the parks (since we didn't get to our room and to bed until around 2:30am). We got out of the car and started to unload the strollers when the rain started. We ditched the strollers, put on ponchos and got on the tram to go to Epcot.

At Epcot

First stop Soarin'. Pammie, Grammie and Daddy took the trio, while London and I staked out a table for lunch.

The cold front was blowing through and it was turning CHILLY!

By now, the cold front was here...time to bundle up!

On the monorail...heading to the Magic Kingdom for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party!

Lathan was starting to feel bad :(

Family (London asleep in stroller) Snowing!!!

Zurg

Lathan asleep during the dance party. I was so bummed. Lathan LOVES Christmas and Disney World SOOOO much - I just knew he was going to flip over the Christmas Party. Instead, he slept through most of it (while all of his favorite songs played in the background), burning up with fever).

London drinking Hot Chocolate

Hot Chocolate (and cookies!!!) are free during the Christmas Party! It was perfect for sitting on Main Street while it snowed!

Lathan's Motrin started to kick in...

This boy LOVED hot chocolate!

Waiting for the parade in the snow :)

Bundled

Snow White's Dwarfs and the Triplets (London was asleep)

On our way back to the resort, we pretty much had the bus to ourselves (which is another story). Patrick and I had the babies in the strollers asleep while Grammie and Pammie rode in the car. Patrick and I smiled and talked about how we couldn't believe that it had been 10 years since our honeymoon trip to Disney and how amazing it was that we were sitting across from 2 double strollers, filled with our very precious cargo. It was a really sweet moment that didn't last long...as soon as we got off the bus, we couldn't remember where our room was so we walked into the lobby to get a map. The lobby was full with guests checking in and we of course drew lots of attention with our strollers. Patrick started toward the front desk to get the map and out of no where, Logan starts screaming, throws his blanket off and throws up everywhere! Patrick and I run the strollers outside, try to calm Logan down (which wasn't working) and now have strollers full of sleepy, cranky, crying babies as we look for our room in the freezing cold. We passed a bride and groom (still dressed from their wedding) running to their room laughing. I couldn't help but smile imagining us 10 years ago vs us today with our sick kids!

Finally back at the room. The housekeepers had displayed our Christmas Mickey's in the window :)
