Lauren's hair is finally long enough for a pony tail! Such a milestone for a little girl!
We had planned on going to Louisiana this past weekend to visit Aunt Sue and the gang and to celebrate Mardi Gras but it didn't work out. So sweet though...Aunt Sue sent us a King Cake and some beads in the mail!
The Triplets Breakfast this Mardi Gras
They LOVED it...thank you Aunt Sue!!!! (I did panic a little when we got down to the very last piece and hadn't found the baby yet...thought for sure someone had eaten it and that I'd be checking diapers for the next few days!)
After breakfast we played with Playdough (for the first time EVER!)

Lauren Being Silly!
And for lunch we got some Happy Meals and sat out front to enjoy the BEAUTIFUL weather :)
Logan's Funny for the Day: When drinking his milk he asked me if we had any potatoes. I asked him why and he told me that if he had potatoes he could make mashed potatoes with his milk. He said we'd also need "butter and a beater and then salt at the end". I think he knows more about cooking than I do thanks to his sleep overs at Grammie's!!! Sad to say that the only mashed potatoes we've ever made around here were from a box!
We missed you guys!! We'll party together next year for Mardi Gras!!
ReplyDeleteThe suspense is killing this Louisiana gal - what happened to the baby? Many places won't put it in the king cake anymore.
ReplyDeleteI remember when my daughter was about Lauren's age and was required to have her hair up for ballet. We would scrape it into a little high pony tail and we called it "dancin' hair".
Fond memories.
