Wow...what a great weekend! On Saturday we were all feeling a little cooped up and Patrick and I both had places that we wanted to go. Lathan had taken a good nap (a must for any activity to be successful) so we called for backup (Grammie & Aunt Pammie), loaded up the babies and all ventured out! It felt GREAT to leave the house and I think that the kiddos enjoyed seeing something different, especially Pottery Barn Kids! We started out at Target, then moved to the mall where we shopped a little before heading to TinStar for our first dinner out with everyone.
It took 2 cars, 2 diaper bags, and 4 people (one for each baby and one to push the stroller, which ended up full of shopping bags instead of babies when they all decided they would rather be held than strapped down). Overall, we are counting the trip as a success and can't wait to do it again soon!
How sweet! I bet it was nice to get out and about with all the kiddos. Madison asks every day if we can go see the babies...hope to see them soon!
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful to explore the world thru the eyes of your children! Who would have thought that Pottery Barn would have been so facinating! It will be more fun and measurably easier each week. Enjoy the photos!

Yippee! Shopping trip next time Aunt JuJu comes to town!!! I miss you all and will see you in 2 LONG weeks :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful shopping adventure! I think it only fitting that the first outing with all 3 (not counting going to the doctor!)would be to the mall!
ReplyDeleteThey were so sweet - as always!

We had so much fun babysitting... we're up for it anytime. Just let us know!! We were so tired on Sunday, but it was very rewarding!
ReplyDeleteIt was soo cool to run into you at the mall! The babies are just adorable.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear that you and your husband got a much needed break! It's always nice to recharge your batteries away from the kids.
