Pool Playdate

This afternoon we met some friends at the pool for a playdate!

First time on the family slide!

Chin Up

Another fun day at gymnastics!

You participated in a chin up contest...the boys went first...and it all came down to Lathan and Logan!  Neither would give up.  Your whole class and even your three coaches were cheering you on!

Lathan you are at least 8-10 pounds heavier than Logan and in genera Logan has a tendancy to be stronger but you were SUPER determined and you did it!  Mommy was so proud...of BOTH of you!





Then it was the girls turn. Lauren you were super strong too!

You held on for a really long time but finally had to drop...





The final round was the top boy and the top girl





Lathan, you did it again! You stayed strong through the very end and were soooo excited when you won!





One of your friends jumped up and gave you a high five and then you got one from the other kids in your class.





Your confidence was boosted for the rest of class...you even climbed all the way to the top of the Jurassic Wall!

Doctor

We got up early today to get you all (the triplets) signed up for Sunday school.  Since we were already out and about we were able to catch the 10 am showing of Winnie The Pooh with Aunt Pammie!  London, this is one of your favorite movies.  We saw it last year at the theatre for your Mommy/Daddy date (with Pammie too!) and you all got the BluRay last November the day that Lathan had his bike accident (and we needed something calm to do in the evening).

In the car on the way home from the movie Lauren, you told me your ear was bothering you again.  We called Daddy and got you an appointment with Dr Savrick.

You were nervous to get checked out.  The last time you were here you had to get a strep test and eye drops...nothing terrible but not pleasant either.  We braided your hair and let you draw to keep your mind off your worries :)

Turns out your ear is infected...knew it!  Antibiotics for the next 10 days.

On our way out, we stopped by the potty.  Kind of random for a picture but I think its totally cute the way you wash your hands.  You love it when you can reach the soap all by yourself (which happens alot now that you're getting so tall!)...

And you ALWAYS smell the soap before you lather.  ALWAYS!

My sweet, sweet London...today you finally had your 3 year well baby visit. We've had this appointment scheduled twice since your birthday but cancelled due to runny nose, etc. Since we knew you needed a shot, we wanted to make sure you were in tip top shape beforehand.

Angela, Dr Savrick's nurse, came in and weighed you and checked your height. You are 41.5 inches tall (98%) and 37.6 lbs (88%) - such a big boy!!! We played in the room while we waited for Dr Savrick. Making silly faces...

You were all smiles and did great even when Dr Savrick came in (still super shy but no tears!)

When Dr Savrick left, I told you that you were getting a shot. I told you that it would pinch for just a second but that you only needed one shot and that it would be over really quick. Angela let be hold you and before we knew it, it was over. Angela left and you looked at me with your pouty face and said "I didn't like that". You started to get teary and kept telling me you didn't like it but when I told you it was time for suckers you were fine. We got a sticker and lots of suckers and then went downstairs to wait for Daddy and the big kids.

The triplets were SOOOO proud of you for getting your shot and were even more proud when I told them you didn't cry...you were beaming with all the fuss over you :) We went to Papasittos for dinner, had a dance party at home and then put you to bed - it was a big day!

*A little video clip of you and Mommy while we were waiting for the Doctor. It was funny too because in the video you do your "Kevin". Home Alone 2 is one of your favorite movies and you like to show us "Kevin" especially for pictures. Right after this video, we got in the elevator and a man said that you look like the kid from Home Alone. We've had probably 3 strangers tell us that in the past few months!

Thursday

Stretching at gymnastics...Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes

The little girl you're marching with Lauren is new and you all really like her! She learned your names quick and you guys all stick together throughout class :)

And when you got up from your naps, you had a big Easter package from Grandpa and Grandma waiting for you!

We had a showing at the house this afternoon so we ran up to Chic fil a to grab a bite to eat. It was perfect timing because Potteryland was setting up for an event and you all got to paint an Easter Bunny! We pick the finished products up on Friday...you guys can't wait!

After the show we used our Magic Hours and went for more fun. We grabbed a bite at Pinocchio Village Haus and watched the boats go by on Its a Small World. You guys got lots of waves with your costumes!

Its a Small World was one of the last we rode that night. It was perfect!
