Lucy's Weekend

On Saturday Grammie, Aunt Pammie, Lauren, London and I headed up to Aunt JuJu's to celebrate Lucy's 2nd birthday and her baby dedication at church. (The big boys stayed home with Daddy and had a "Boy's Only" night complete with Star Wars, Popcorn, Ice Cream and lots of time outside.)

Ace is the Place!

Granny and Grandpa are sponsoring The Woodlands High School Football program and they asked the kids to be part of the photoshoot for the calendar.

At first the photographer asked Lathan to wear the football helmet. Lathan had a funny look on his face and I could tell he wasn't happy about it so I went over and helped him take it off. He said "Mom, this hat smells really, really bad". (And he was right!!!)

Today we were out running errands and popped in on Maw Maw, Aunt Sandy and Uncle Jake.

The kids had so much fun! They were definitely spoiled :)

On the way home the kids were talking about who they "really, really, really, really.......love". Lathan is concerned that if he really, really, really, really....loves someone that he has to physically give them his heart! Logan and Lauren say they love everyone in their family. London chimes in and says "Maw Maw"!

Poor little London got hurt tonight in a tricycle accident - he's sleeping now but he had a rough evening. He had some impressive ouchies on his knee and elbow and we even had to ice and elevate his little leg to get the swelling down. I hate it when the kids get hurt :( He just kept crying "Mama Owwwww"

* When I asked him if he wanted a bandaid he just kept saying "and beyond"...he wanted Buzz Lightyear bandaides...just something I want to remember!*
