Austin Day Three

Our last day in Austin...

Yay - Grandma didn't have to go in to work until the afternoon so the kids got some extra play time with her!

I love the relationship Lauren and Grandpa have now. When Lauren was a baby, she went through a phase where she would cry when she saw him (we think she was scared of his beard!) but now she thinks nothing less than the world of him. Its really sweet.

Austin Day Two

Daddy and Grandma both had to work but Grandpa was free to play!

We picked up Chic fil a and took it to the park for a picnic.

We ended the day with a pizza dinner, bubbles baths and Golden Books...pretty much perfect!

Just trying to organize some pictures and came across this one. I posted it on facebook a while back but don't think I ever put it on the blog. My favorite is that when I showed it to the boys, Logan said "I thought I was the oldest".

Happy Father's Day

We were in Austin for Father's Day (plus holidays ALWAYS sneak up on me and I didn't get his gift made in time for the weekend!) so we gave Daddy his present last night.

Austin Day One

Daddy had to work in Austin so we tagged along to get in a nice visit with

Grandma and Grandpa!

The kids "helped" Daddy and Grandpa put the picnic table together while Grandma made a yummy breakfast.

Grandma and Grandpa have the best backyard...tree swings, a slide, a huge wrap around patio for ride on toys...its GREAT!

Logan was determined to get on this swing by himself...

His perseverance paid off...here he is swinging high in the sky!
